Facility

Our facility is an integral part of our Christian service to the community.  Our sanctuary seats around 175 with room in the balcony.  On the main floor, we have a spacious kitchen with two ovens, lots of prep space, an industrial dishwasher, and a three sink setup. Downstairs we have a smaller fellowship area/dining room with a full kitchen. Throughout the building we have several meeting room options, a nursery, a library, and handicap accessible bathrooms.

Cody moved to Clarkston in August of 2014. Originally from Howe, ID, he attended Multnomah Bible College (now Multnomah University) in Portland for two years before receiving a degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boise Bible College in May of 2006. The day after he graduated, he married his wife Lisa. They have two daughters– Jessalyn and Adele. In the spring of 2014, Cody received his Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Missional Leadership from the graduate school of Northwest Nazarene University. Cody served as pastor of First Christian Church of Payette, ID for nine years before coming to Clarkston UMC. Cody enjoys: writing, reading, cooking, football (his teams are the Boise State Broncos and the Dallas Cowboys), learning, philosophy, theology, Batman, great movies, and spending time with people.

Office Manager-Terri Entze
Terri has lived in the Pacific Northwest her whole life.  She was born in Portland, OR and moved to Clarkston when she was 4.  She attended Clarkston High School and graduated from Lewis Clark State College in 2004 with a B.S. in Social Science and an English minor.  Terri has worked as the Clarkston UMC Office Manager since the fall of 2006.  Activities that she enjoys include reading, cooking, and volunteering at Beacon Christian School’s library.

Music Leader-Sharon Warner
Sharon has lived in the Lewis and Clark Valley since 2007.  She was born in Montpelier, Idaho and graduated from Montpelier High School (now Bear Lake High School).  Sharon attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in music education and a minor in Spanish in 1970.  After college she took a job as a band and choir director at Murtaugh High School in Twin Falls County, Idaho.  She taught there for 7 years and then in a Twin Falls Junior High School for 3 years.  In 1980, she took the position of choir director at Jerome High School. She spent the remaining 24 years of her career in that position.  In 1990, she was named Idaho’s Music Educator of the Year by the Idaho Music Educator’s Association.  While teaching in Murtaugh, in 1975 she met and married Tony Warner.  They were married until he passed away in 2003.  Sharon retired in 2004 and shortly after, the artistic director of the Lewiston Civic Theatre called her and asked her to come and be rehearsal pianist and vocal director for Sweeney Todd. She accepted and continued coming up here to help until she decided to stop traveling and moved here in 2007.
